The Wintersville Little League
All-Stars will play Sunday at
Jo Ann Field, game time 1:00
p.m., as announced by League
President John Felmet.
The American League manager
will be Earl Pearce, assisted
by Rudy Taliani and Ray Dal-
fonso. The Americna League
teams playing at Jo Ann Field
are Indians, Twins, Red Sox,
Orioles, Yanks, and Tigers.
The National League manager
will be John Otto assisted by
Bill Ross and Kenneth Comp-
ston. The league plays at Ban-
tam Ridge Field with six teams,
Pirates, Phils, Dodgers, Cubs,
Cardinals, and Giants in the
league.
Mr. Felmet announced this is
the only "All Star Game" of
the season and looks forward
Sunday
to a good following by the local
baseball fans.
The American League All-Stars
are: Ray Dalfonso, Ton Kerno-

Five Jefferson
Union FFA Members
Attend Camp
Five Jefferson-Union Future
Farmer members attended the
Ohio F.F.A. Camp at Camp
Muskingum on Leesville Lake,
Carrollton, Ohio. They are::
Dwaine Swickard, Joe Gains,
Duane Critser, Richard Dorn-
busch, and Ted Brehm.
Duane Critser was sent to camp
on a Camp Scholarship that was
presented by the Vernon Dell
Tractor Sales of East Liverpool,
Ohio. The boys were in camp for
five days. Some of the things
that they did were fishing, boat-
ing, swimming, and several other
sports.
They were instructed in rifle
safety, the use of the bow and
arrow, identification of timber
trees, safe use of the shotgun,
how to stack lumber for proper
curing, and safe operation of
outboard motor boats.
There were 290 other F.F.A.
members from all over Ohio.
All of the boys received some
training in leadership.

Wintersville Grange To
Hold Annual Picnic
The Wintersville Grange #1636
will meet Saturday evening at
the Grange Hall at 6:30 p.m.
to enjoy their annual picnic.
Members are to bring a cover-
ed dish and their own table ser-
vice. Coffee and meatloaf will
be furnished.
F.P. "Pop" Taylor is planning
to speak on retirement.
All Grange members are in-
vited to come and bring their
friends.

President Ed Rice, of the Wood-
vue Corporation has announced
that the Woodvue Recreation Park
will be open to the public some-
time in July.
The park will feature a swim-
ming pool (pictured above under
construction), a picnic area with
shelters (such a& the one pic-
tured on the left), and an am-
phitheater.
Steubenville Players
Plan For Season
The Board of Directors of the
Steubenville Players met on Wed-
nesday evening, July 7, to elect
officers and map plans for the
coming season. Re-elected as
President was Bill Chesson, and
as Secretary, Eunice Lincoff.
The other officers elected were
Clotilda Carfagna, Vice Presi-
dent and Izzy Cholok, Treasurer.
Fourteen members of the board
were appointed committee chair-
manships. They are: House and
Concessions, Carmen Barbetta;
Set Decoration, Max Baron;
Props, Clemmie Cacciacarro;
Box Office, Elizabeth Challings-
worth; Casting & Participation,
Damon Clauss; Set Building &
Workshop, Lou D'Alonzo; Play
Selection, Ted Eiland; Light &
Sound, Father John Galea; Pub-
licity, Milt Hayman; Playbill,
Dick McGowan; Set Construction,
George Miller; Make-up, Rose
Siegel; Costumes, Estelle Shire;
Membership, Alice Zekas.
The recent board election for six
positions elected Dick McGowan
as the only newly elected'mem-
ber. The Board appointed Eliza-
beth Challingsworth and Alice
Zekas to fill terms vacated by
resignations.
The Players Board will next
meet the end of July at which
time plans for the new mem-
bership drive will be formulated
and the selections of plays for
the coming season will be dis-
cussed. The Board agreed that
next year's three plays will be
presented in October, February
and either May or June, with
a comedy, a drama and a musi-
cal under strong consideration.
At the annual General Meeting,
President Bill Chesson commen-
ded the Players on the fine work
done this year and the exceptional
support and cooperation through-
out the year.

Weirton Steel To Honor
45 And 40 Year
Members At Outing
Names of the members of the
Weirton Steel Employees 25-year
Club who will receive 45 and 40
year awards at the organization's
annual summer outing on Satur-
day, July 17 were announced
by Robert Kerr, club president.
The outing will begin at 11:00
a.m. at the Weirton Police Lodge
with the awards presentations
scheduled for 12:00 noon.
A total of 24 members will re-
ceive awards in recognition of
having completed 45 years of
service with Weirton Steel, a
division of National Steel Cor-
poration. ,

Two shows featuring several
acts of professional entertain-
ment have been scheduled for
the outing, one to be held im-
mediately following the awards
presentations and the other at
5:00 p.m.
Mr. Kerr said a biuffet luncheon
will be served throughout the
day and reminded club members
that their new wallet-size identi-
fication cards which replaced
yellow ribbons that were used
in the past will admit them to
the outing.

Arlene Coyler
Walt Lint Realty has announced
that Arlene Colyer has been add-
ed to the agency staff as a
licensed Sales Representative.
Arlene is married to Rolfe Mac-
Quown and has a six year old
daughter, Kim. They make their
home in Sunset Gardens,
Wintersville.
She is the daughter of Cyrus,
"Cy", Colyer who is employed
at Bailey's Auto Mart.
She is well known throughout
the country for her performances
as a talented Marimba player.
